A meeting was held at Navoi International Airport between Airport Director Alisher Klichev and a delegation of Wanjun International Supply Chain (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., led by Sun Wenzheng, Chairman of the Board.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the logistics and cargo-handling potential of Navoi International Airport, the capabilities of its multimodal transport infrastructure, international transit opportunities, and prospects for investment cooperation.

The Chinese company presented an investment proposal for the establishment of a Cross-Border Supply Chain Industrial Park at Navoi International Airport. According to the proposal, the project envisages an investment of USD 20 million on a 20-hectare site.

The proposed initiative aims to develop export-import operations, establish modern logistics and warehousing infrastructure, create exhibition and trade facilities, and promote the development of light manufacturing industries. If implemented, the project is expected to create 400–600 new jobs, increase foreign trade volumes, and contribute to the region's socio-economic development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, expanding logistics capabilities, and continuing dialogue on promising investment initiatives.
