IMPORTANT MEETINGS BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND THE UNITED STATES TAKING PLACE IN SAMARKAND
A series of important meetings are taking place in Samarkand, aimed at further developing economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, attracting investment, and discussing promising projects.
In particular, the second meeting of the Uzbekistan–America Business and Investment Council and the C5+1 meeting, attended by the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and the United States, have served as important platforms for strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation.
Elbek Gaffarov, Deputy Governor of Navoi Region, and Alisher Klichev, Director of Navoi International Airport, are also participating in these events.
As part of the events, negotiations were held with representatives of major international companies, including Boeing, Wabtec, and Air Products, to promote international cooperation in the transport and energy sectors, introduce modern technologies, and explore new investment opportunities.
For Navoi International Airport, such discussions are particularly important for expanding the airport’s transport and logistics capabilities, developing multimodal transportation, and strengthening its position in the international market.
International cooperation, investment, and modern technologies are key factors in enhancing the economic potential of Navoi Region and strengthening its position as a major transport and logistics hub.
