Navoi International Airport welcomed an international cargo flight operated by an Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft.
The flight delivered 165 head of pedigree cattle with a total weight of 82.5 tonnes from Liège, Belgium, to Navoi International Airport.
Upon arrival, the livestock was unloaded at the airport's cargo terminal and underwent veterinary, customs and border control procedures in accordance with established regulations.
The acceptance, unloading and clearance processes were efficiently coordinated by the airport cargo terminal, customs, border, veterinary and other relevant services in full compliance with international and national requirements.
This operation once again demonstrated Navoi International Airport's modern logistics infrastructure and strong operational capabilities in handling large-scale, special-category cargo and live animal transportation.
Today, Navoi International Airport continues to strengthen its role as one of Central Asia's key air transport and logistics hubs by expanding international cargo routes, facilitating import-export operations and enhancing the country's transit potential.
