Cybersecurity Awareness Event Held at Navoi International Airport

A cybersecurity awareness event was held at Navoi International Airport with the participation of the airport's management and employees. The event was conducted by officers of the Cybercrime Investigation Department of the Navoi Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, Captain Shokir Shavkatjonovich Xazratqulov and Captain Jasur Izzatullayevich Usmonov.
During the event, participants were informed about the latest trends and methods of cybercrime, the factors contributing to the growing number of cyber incidents, and the key cybersecurity measures that should be observed when using information technologies.
Special attention was given to the protection of personal and corporate data, recognizing phishing attempts and social engineering attacks, avoiding suspicious links and unknown applications, creating strong passwords, and enabling two-factor authentication. Practical recommendations were also provided to help employees strengthen their cybersecurity awareness and digital safety practices.
The primary objective of the event was to enhance the cybersecurity knowledge and practical skills of airport personnel, strengthen information security, and prevent cybercrime.
