Navoi International Airport continues to expand its international route network with a new scheduled connection to Moscow, the capital of Russia.

From 28 October this year, Russia’s Azimuth Airlines will operate regular services on the Moscow Vnukovo — Navoi route.

Flights will operate once a week, on Wednesdays, using modern Superjet 100 aircraft. Tickets are on sale for the entire winter schedule.

This is the first new passenger route launched by a foreign airline since Navoi International Airport moved to an independent management system.

The launch of Azimuth services is one of the first significant results of the new management model in developing international cooperation and passenger transport.

The route gives residents of Navoi and surrounding areas more opportunities to fly directly to Moscow and strengthens the region’s international transport connections.

Azimuth also currently operates scheduled services from Russia to Tashkent, Samarkand, Urgench and Termez.

For reference, Navoi — Moscow fares start from UZS 1.94 million one way and UZS 4.66 million return.

Prices may change depending on the airline’s fares and ticket availability.
