NAVOI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT STRENGTHENS ITS POSITION AS A REGIONAL CARGO HUB: BOEING 787 DREAMLINER AIRCRAFT ENGINE SHIPPED TO PARIS
Date published
On August 24, 2026, Navoi International Airport successfully handled and dispatched an aircraft engine for a Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by Uzbekistan Airways JSC.
The total weight of the cargo, including required spare parts and associated equipment, was 13,250 kilograms.
The shipment was transported aboard a specialized Boeing 777F freighter operated by French airline CMA CGM Air Cargo on the Navoi (NVI) — Paris (CDG, France) route. The use of a dedicated cargo aircraft ensured the necessary conditions for the safe transportation of this large and technically complex aviation cargo.
The successful completion of this operation demonstrates Navoi International Airport’s capabilities in handling heavy, oversized, and specialized cargo, which requires dedicated loading, securing, documentation, and logistics coordination procedures.
The transportation arrangements and complete documentation were coordinated by Multi Jet Hub, acting as the official agent of the air carrier. The company’s specialists coordinated the required procedures, including customs clearance and compliance with the technical requirements for cargo transportation.
The successful execution of such operations demonstrates Navoi International Airport’s growing capabilities in handling aviation and specialized cargo and contributes to the further development of its cargo potential.
The airport continues to strengthen its position as an important logistics hub for international cargo transportation between Asia and Europe.
